With Us Against Reality, Or Against Us!

Our first show was held in an old chocolate factory, hence the name Willy Wonka Inc. “With Us Against Reality, or Against Us!” was an exhibition bringing together 32 young American artists and artist groups, as well as artists from Sweden, Norway, Germany and Netherlands. The artists in the exhibition were dealing with issues of escapism and subcultures.

A catalogue was produced, with texts by Anders Eiebakke, Geir Haraldseth, Slava Mogutin, Hanne Mugaas & Cory Arcangel and Jonas Ohlsson, as well as an additional CD of music made by many of the participating artists.
